    Very overgrown beak

    Young hen who is having trouble eating. I've noticed how thin she is so I have to figure this out. Her beak has always been overgrown but there is not much "dead" beak to cut off. I've never had to clip a beak before and I'm wondering if it's safe and if I take off too much will it hurt her?

    Is this egg fertile?

    I recently had to rehome our Ameracauna rooster (we can't have them) but I kept him as long as I could to get some babies. I have never seen him mate with my Ameracauna but when I checked an egg today I saw this. Is it fertile? If so I'm gonna save a clutch of her eggs to incubate.

    Crooked Beak...how well will he do?

    This is "Toothless" our Australorp/Ameracauna mix. I noticed about a week ago that his beak is severely crooked and seems to be getting worse. Does anyone have any experience with this or have a grown chicken with it? How well will he survive? And yes it's a roo.

    Chicken poops everytime she lays an egg

    Not much else to say about it haha. Anyone know why? Also, because of this issue she always has caked poop on her bum and I've had to clip feathers back to keep it from matting. Her butt is pretty bare now because she's lost feathers. Also is it safe to use the eggs?
