Seven month old Wyandotte roo not standing!

I have a Wyandotte roo who is not eating, drinking, or standing. It looks as if he might have pulled a muscle maybe? Or he might have eaten something that he wasn't supposed to? Anyways, he has been like this for a few days and I'm not sure that he is going to make it. I mean, it doesn't look...

My female Roun might have an abscess! What do I do?

A few weeks ago my mom and I saw our female Roun duck limping. We never really got the chance to check it out but we did today. On the right side of her middle toe on her left foot, it looks like she might have an abscess. My mom, who used to work as a vet-tech, can't think of anything else that...

My BR hen has been acting sluggish, her butt is poopy, and one of her toes looks swollen. Is there a reason that her poop is sticking to her butt? Is it because she is sick? Is the toe that is swollen making her not move as much, resulting her looking sluggish? Let me know...

    UH-OH!

My mom and I were sitting on our deck in the afternoon and I said, "Look, there is that orange cat." ( An orange cat lives in our hay loft.) My mom stood up and I saw the face and tail and we both said at the same time, "THATS A FOX!" It was about a foot away from two of my chickens and it was...

I'm in need of some more chickens but I can't find a convenient place

My mom and I are looking for some more chicks and we were going to go through Blue Seal, but we have to get 5 of each BREED. It is soooooo annoying! Do you go to a breeder who has a convenient price and no minimum of what to get? It would help A LOT. The only problem would be my area. I live in...

BARRED ROCK ROOSTERS ARE STILL AVAILABLE for NH people!!!

These roosters are very beautiful boys. I would suggest that people not take both of them for your own sake. They can make "trouble" for themselves if together. Please reply to this message or PM me for more info. Thanks!
