Someone came to my house saying they saw a duck walking down the street and thought it was one of mine. It wasn't but I went to check it out anyway. I saw this tiny female mallard and a couple teenagers keeping her away from the neighborhood cats. She seemed pretty tame when I went up to her. I...
Peepers on the left and Jello Puddin' Pop on the right.
Jello trying to cuddle. <3
The babies cuddling up with the kitty.
This is about how big they are now.
I'm trying to figure out a way to introduce them to the other two that I have (the drake is super aggressive). So until then...
Shes healthy otherwise. Kicking around, breathing normally, peeping...
She just hatched this morning and part of what looks like the yolk sack is still attached along with this pink pumpkin looking thing. Any thoughts?
I've raise him and his mate from 2 days old. They're my babies... and ever since the girl has started to lay eggs the drake has started chasing me. Whenever anyone walks by he charges them. He even caught up to me this morning as I was letting them out and he bit my leg!
Is there anyway I can...
I decided that I want babies. So I'm using the RCOM incubator...
This one...

- The yolk is the size of the egg! (obviously)
My Cayuga started laying about a week ago and yesterday she laid the same size egg as the one to the right (that's actually the egg she laid today). That one was cracked though so I opened it in a bowl and there were two yolks connected and fertilized. Is this happening cause she just started...

They have caused me a bit of trouble with the neighbors calling the cops (my little girl duck likes to say Good Morning to the neighborhood at 6am!) but I love them. Anyway just wanted to say hi!
Here they are at 1 month...
Can you really tell when theyre getting ready to lay? Is there really a bump?
I noticed today my Cayuga has a bump on one side... it looks odd but its about the size of an egg.
I have a 3 month old Cayuga, and she just won't shut up. I swear she starts at 6am when I'm getting ready to leave for work (she doesn't know I'm even up). Then when I get home and walk in the house she starts up again and she'll continue to quack until I go sit with her and my drake.
I just...
