Got my 10 Cochin chicks from Cackle Hatchery and 2 were dead in the box. Another one is real weak. Put it in the heat right away and gave it sugar water. Still alive for now. I hate opening a box to find dead chicks. It makes the rest of your day a bummer.

I just got my chicks from Meyers! All of the chicks are alive and happy! I order 5 Cuckoo Maran pullets and recieved 6. I will order from Meyers again in the future. I will post pictures when they get settled in.

Need help!!! All my babies that I ordered from MM have pasty butt. The brooder is at 95 degrees, clean water at least 3 times a day, brooder stays clean. I change the paper towels at least 6 times a day. I have been cleaning butts since they got here. Any suggestions?
