When to tractor supply and purchased four more chicks! Two that I think are Ancona and two partridge silkies. What am I going to do with silkies? They were so cute! Darn it!

I'm so lucky the TSC I went to last weekend didn't have any. In fact, none of my local feed stores have them yet.

    Have pictuers yet? [IMG]

That is EXACTLY WHY I avoid that section of farm store here. They keep the chicks, ducks and geese in the back in like a enclosed patio area. I just run in get my feed and get the HECK OUT!

I also avoid Petsmart on the weekends too!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean. I went to TSC yesterday and came home with some bantams (never had any) and I think they are cochins, but not sure. But they're cute as can be, whatever they turn out to be.

I went to my TSC today lucky for me they only have the pamphlets in on what they will be receiving.

However they have 2 big bins of bunnies. That was kind of hard to just walk past.

All I've seen were the rabbits. Ironically, they're all the primped up breeds, like dwarves and lionheads. I would have expected meat rabbits. [IMG]

Our TSC has everything set up and ready, but no chicks yet. They have a sign "Minimum purchase of 25 chicks"!!! [IMG]

Tree hugger, is the 25 minimum New York State Law?

Here in Missouri state law says a minimum of 6, althought the feed stores here don't enforce it.
