specialorders are minimum 25, but they will have some inabin all mixedup for about 1.89 each chick i think they have a minimum 6 chick purchase and in increments of 6

I have my six girls from a local farm and must avoid the feed stores! If I go in and hear peeping I'll have to repeat:

I have yet to see any in the stores but when I find some I am going to hope that mom is with me. (she can easily be convinced lol.)

I'll have to go back and check, but I'm pretty sure the sign only said min 25 chicks. The special order signs have been gone for a few weeks. Perhaps the sign person was confused. I hope so

If I come home with 25 more my husband will scream.

What a perfect excuse for 25 new babies

I got chicks from TSC yesterday and no sign for any minimums.....although I did buy 7. Maybe I might try to get one or two more tonight and see what they say LOL.

Must run asap to check my TSC. I just hatched a lone Serama that needs a friend. My TSC lets me buy any amount i want.

Went to ours today, all the have is straight run reds, and assorted straight runs. They have not gotten the ducks, bantams, or the assorted pullets in yet. They had a sign that says minimum is 6 chicks, or 25 for special order. In the straight run bin I could easily pick out EEs and Wyandottes. Had to make my way for the door quick before I scooped up something I did not need.

Well, I went back today and it is indeed a 25 min purchase. It says due to city ordinance. That's just messed up! Luckily I travel a lot and pass many TSC stores.
