    Freezing temps expected during hatch

    I have a first time broody Bantam hen sitting on a few eggs that are due to hatch in a couple of days. The temperature is expected to be freezing during hatch and right after. Do you think the chicks will be OK? Or should I bring momma & eggs in the house to hatch? Pic of Curley just for fun.

    Eggs exploding while boiling

    OK, I've searched the forum and can't find an answer. My eggs are exploding when I boil them. I use the "older" eggs, straight out of the fridge, put vinegar in the water, and bring to a boil. About 1/2 of them will explode when they start to boil. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
