    My neighbor two houses down raises hunting dogs. I was down there helping him catch some half grown pigs, and asked about the dogs he had. He said he was expecting some pups soon and would let me know. Anyway 4 months later he came by and said he had a female pup that he needed to find a home...

    My neighbor a few houses down just came by to tell me he had a pup for me. ( I told him I was interested if he bred) She is a plott catahoula cross. looks like a yellow lab with long ears. I'm really bad at posting pics. She's really smart and don't chase my chickens.

    Warts on head

    I think my 3 month old poults have pox. I did a search and came up with alot of ways to treat it. Is there a short version? The pox are around the eyes and nose and a few on their legs. One of them can barely see. I have been putting iodine on them. Is this a wait and see thing? I feel so...

    Lawn mowers

    Who uses there critters to mow? I let the horses and sheep out to mow the front yard. I just have to fence off the plants I want to keep. The chickens and turkeys do the edging.

    Last Shuutle launch

    Well, if the weather clears enough this might be the last shuttle. Think I'm going to miss it, I know my dog will. He always barks at it when he sees it lifting off. (I live about 10 mile from KSC) Not to mention all the jobs lost.

    Sooo...I go to the feed store and............

    I come home with six fuzzy butts. Three light brahmas and three silver sebrights. I needed more chicks like I need a hole in the head. Hubby said "not again", but he's just as hooked as me. What an awesome guy!

    My cat has a cold

    My cat has the sniffles. He's eating and drinking but he is sneezing. Of course my vet is closed on Wednesday so I'll have to wait till Thursday. He's worst then DH when he's sick. He has to drink out of the sink with running water (fresh water in his bowl). I know he don't feel good but...

    Shhh, there sleeping

    I set 33 eggs, 4 were not fertile, 2 did not form completely. I have 22 babies so far. One died hatching I have 4 more to hatch. I think that's around a 75% hatch rate. My best so far. All the babies are from my mutt chickens. Did I mention how so darn cute they are.

    Camping in Kentucky?

    We are planning a camping trip for october to cumberland gap. Has anybody here even camped there? We are tent camping to get in touch with nature. We camped down skyline drive last vacation and had a blast. We are looking at the national parks and I'm just looking for some pointers. Thanks

    dreams ?

    What does it mean when I keep dreaming about planes or helicopters(sp) crashing in my back yard? I keep having this dream and it is driving me crazy. Usually I don't dream, but these are in color and very vivid. I really wish they would stop. By the way I have never flownn either one.
