Sick of filling a dozen feeders every other day! Anyone use a bulk feeder of any kind? How does it do against rain?
Just received another batch of 300 bobwhite eggs. USPS "Priority 3 Day" delivery once AGAIN took 7 days...I'll demand that eggs be shipped via FedEx or UPS from now on. Out of the 300 there were 38 that were crushed. I'm not having as much success as I'd like with the first 200 but we'll see how...

I'm incubating Georgia Giant Bobwhites...there seems to be vast inconsistency among my 200 eggs. I culled 28 yesterday and put them on a separate rack to check later, but currently they appear infertile. The others have veins showing...some much more than others. Is inconsistency or different...
My wife and I tried to do a lot of the little things in our new house ourselves...stumbled across some old chicken feeders and built a light fixture for our dining area...I think it turned into a neat feature.
I purchased an apparatus from GQF that automatically keeps the tray at a certain level...it's basically a 5 gallon bucket with a hose and a pan with a float. Anyone ever DIY'd one? I'm looking for ideas for my other incubator. It sure makes life easier not filling the tray every day!
