Does anyone sell them? If so can you tell me what you charge for them? I've got a lot of Black raspberries and people wanting to purchase them. I have no clue what a fair price would be.
I realize that pricing will vary by location, I am just trying to get a ball park.
We have had cooler weathe than normal, but this last weekend it was really warm 87 plus and extremely humid.
Sunday morning I noticed one of my hens was trying to sleep out in the run during the day. Today, I came home from work and it looked like she was trying to sleep again. When I walked up...
I currently have my flock mixed. But I have some hens and a rooster of the same breed. If I separate them out in a breeding pen. How long until the eggs would be pure breed? And what should the rooster to hen ratio be?
Thanks and I apologize if this is the wrong section.
We've had a few days where it's been above freezing.. My husband decided back in January to add 20 more chickens to our existing flock of 65 hens & 15 ducks. We quarantined the new birds and they seemed healthy and I didn't spot anything so we combined them about a month ago.
Today we were...
I'm located in Michigan and I've noticed in the stores egg prices are rising. Im assuming it's because of the bird flu. I live in a very rural area that people don't make a lot of money. When we started selling eggs two years ago we started at $2 per dozen. Which, yes I know I am not making much...
I am reading up on treating with Denegard. I have read the dosage for treatment as 15cc or preventative is 8cc per gallon of water. Now, My question is do you dispense every time you fill the waters? I fill my 2-3 times a day for my 30 hens..
Thank you.
I had two hatch Friday (day 20) and two yesterday (day 21) and one last night. I don't see any pips in the rest of the eggs. But when can I pull the baby chicks out of my incubator?

I have three hens that look like around their eyes is slightly swollen and a little red. I checked them to see if they had drainage coming from their eyes. There is no drainage, no foul smells, no sneezing, or wheezing in any of this hens. I do however have one hen that keeps one eye closed as...
I am in search of One-Two black Australorp Rooster. (Only if they grew up together.)

I have three female ducks and three drakes. I think that my over zealous boys hurt one of my girls. She's limping so I put her in my nursery pen to heal up. There are no cuts or anything but is there something I should check for?
I am hatching ducklings for the first time. I ran my humidity at 40-45% during the first 25 days. I was told to raise humidity to 80% during the last three days. Now it seems like my ducklings are having problems hatching.
Should I lower the humidity? They seem to struggle getting out of the...
I have one hen who is wheezing. I have isolated her from the rest of the flock.
I don't see anything on her nostrils. We had one do the same thing about three months ago. I thought it was possibly gape worm, but we cut the throat open and there were no signs of that either.
Any clues on what...
I don't know if there is an answer to this but we started butchering our Cornish crosses today. Their skin is super this and very fragile. Is there a away to toughen the skin up?

I would like to raise some turkey's for meat. From what I understand I would want broad breasted white turkeys.. Is this correct? And is there anything different I need to know? I've raised egg laying chickens and cornish cross chickens.
