We have a young EE pullet about 3 or 4 months old that has always had a cross beak to some degree.
It seems to be caused by the upper beak hooking down and forcing the lower "jaw" over to the side. When I raise her upper the lower will straighten. She seems to be getting worse, and always...

Purchased some oil change pans...
We have a Bo(19-20wks) that has some white feathers(not a lot) mixed in with the buff ones on her back and saddle. is this normal for a BO or is there something in her kalvin clines that is not Buff?
We caught the fair in Beaumont Saturday. Saw some beautiful chickens there. I would have thought there would have been more breeds represented but what was there was very nice. We especially liked the Polish(with the beautiful tops) and all the roos crowing. Anybody win anything?
Well I've seen a lot of discussion here about predators.
Some want to trap and relocate.
Bad idea thats just a problem for someone else.
Some want to trap and drown, poison and torture or teach them a lesson so to speak. (Oh yes I've seen it on this site)
Bad idea with the exception of...
These chicks (19) are being fed Starter/ Grower crumble feed once in the morning( 0700 )and in the evening (1700) with food available except at night in the coup.
We have found that there are a couple that are very agressive and constantly go around pecking the others on the back near the tail...
