catching abandoned domestic ducks in STL
Does anybody live in the st. Louis area that will be willing to help me catch these two abandoned domesticated ducks at Tower Grove park? I have called over 20 rescues and humane society and park security, no one would help. I have spent over 12 hours trying to catch them with cat food and all... -
drake trying to mate with another drake?
I have two male ducks and no females, and I have caught one trying to mate with the other two or three times now. Has anyone else had this problem before? What should I do about it? I don't want to risk him accidentally drowning the other. Getting females is not an option. -
Mazuri waterfowl food
Opinions on Mazuri waterfowl food? Is it worth the extra money? And do you order straight from their website? If so, how expensive is shipping? -
roosters panting??
My two roosters seem to always have their mouths open and I can see/hear them breathing when they do so, but they almost never go get a drink of water to cool down, even when I bring some to where ever they happen to be at the time. preventing mold
Does anyone know of any products or home remedies or some sort of bedding for preventing mold? I've been using bleach and allowing the room to air out, but I'm worried about it still being a health hazard. -

diapering ducks
I have two ducks who are around 5 and 6 weeks old and I didn't start trying to diaper them until they were 4/5 weeks. Whenever I get the diaper on them, they FLIP out and just start running around trying to shake it off until they get it off. I'm worried that they are going to hurt themselves... -

indoor ducks
Are you for or against having indoor ducks? Why or why not? I would just like to know other's opinion on it, other than the obvious "they are too messy" argument. Thanks. :) -
one baby chick
I bought a baby chick a few days ago and I was hoping he would get along with my two ducklings, but I'm afraid that they will hurt him because he's so little. So I have him in a cage by himself. duckling diet
I know that ducks are suppose to have a certain amount of protein and niacin in their food, is there anything else that I should look out for in their food that could be too high or low? I plan on adding some sort of oates or grain to gamebird food to lower the protein and I just want to make... -

Can someone tell me what breed my brown and white duck might be? He was all yellow as a duckling, and I assumed he was a pekin duck until his face and chest started turning brown. He was around 4 weeks old in the above picture. -
