Today I find my so called broody hen escaped from there pen and I open the door to the coop and there sits the one tom on the nest of eggs like it's his job.     What roster do I keep???

    OK I just got my 1st Ameraucanas. I am sooooooo happy. I got 2 hens and 2 roo's they are 6 mo.old. The kicker is that my DH said he promised one of the roo's I got to a friend of his and I can only keep one now. Who do I keep for breeding stock.

    Thinking about hatching Turkey eggs.

    How different is it to hatch turkeys than chickens? I am still a beginner as far as hatching in an incubator.I am on my 2nd hatch of chickens and so far so good. my 1st hatch was a 50% hatch rate.
