This came up about a week ago. It grows bigger everyday.
This is the same duck I posted about a few months ago with the webbing issue. He's currently doing fine other than this growth that just popped up.
Any ideas on what this could be?

Hi everyone. This little guy's mom was taken by a predator. I discovered his leg situation right after that when I went to check on him and his siblings. They are roughly 2 weeks old
The black skin on the bottom of its foot was peeled back from the tissue. There was a flap...

Hi everyone. I need help for a sick duck. I read the sticky thread about niacin deficiency and I'm up in the air about whether that applies in this case
Background:
I have a runner hen who can't use her legs and it happened overnight.
She's approx 1 and 1/2 half to two years old...
Hi everyone. I have a 1-year-old Rouen hen who at some point yesterday injured her leg. She was limping around and falling on her face. She was obviously in painand trying to keep up with the other ducks. They are free range. I picked her up and there is no bumble but it does feel warm to the...
I have a Pekin around 1-year-old. Day before yesterday she came to breakfast with what looks like a feather on each wing sticking straight up. They kind of cross over in the back like scissors.
I had attached some pictures. Excuse the quality, it is raining out and difficult to photo.
If it...
Hi y'all. I tried reading previous posts about bumble foot and it was hard to find an agreed upon method of treatment. Some of the posts I read were older, too. Step-by-step instructions would be great. My plan so far is to soak the foot in a tub of warm water. After that I'm not exactly sure...
Hi everyone. Today all of my ducks are pumping their wings. They're doing it while standing and while sitting. It's almost like a twitch. Why do they do that? I've never seen them do it before. Should I be worried?
I have a free range mixed flock of 6 ducks. Khaki Campbell's, a Pekin and some Runner mixes.
Yesterday we brought home two true adult female runners. When I introduced the new runners to the flock the runners, who are used to being around a large group of ducks, tried to mix in with them.
I...
This duck was "dumped" at my pond several months ago. She fit right in with everyone else and I was happy to have her.
I noticed her feathers were a little thin a few weeks back but I figured maybe she was moulting?
Today when I saw them I couldn't believe how bad they were.
Does anyone know...
Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with my ducks eating my flowers. They don't do it all the time. As a matter of fact they seem to only do it whenever I take too long to bring their food to them or if I leave for the day. The rest of the time they do not bother them.
I don't want to put one of...
Hi everyone. What breed or Mix of duck do you think he is? Khaki Campbell possibly? Throughout the year, his coloring changes from really light to what you see now.
My runner duck has been sitting on eggs for 24 days. I noticed when she gets up to eat she's staying gone from the longer and longer. She's pretty much abandoned them completely at this point. I brought one inside and looked at it with a candle and it's moving around. What should I do?
I noticed this morning I was missing a Pekin. I went looking in the woods and all I found was a pile of white feathers. No blood, no bones. There was a pile of scat next to it that I'm trying to ID. It appears to have persimmon seeds in it.
What animal would leave only a pile of feathers? :(
Hi everyone. I'm going to try and sum this up quickly. I'm fairly new to this and any advice would be extremely helpful.
We live next to the neighborhood pond in a one street subdivision. Its in the middle of a bunch of canefields and woods. So there are coyotes and raccoons etc.
Over the years...
Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes fairly new. I have free-range ducks. I kind of got thrown into it about a year ago. Learning as I go.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 4 ducks, 1 pekin and 3 khaki Campbell's...until last night when one of my...
