Hedwig - has to be a Silkie roo right?

TLDR: I am pretty positive that this is a cockerel I was hearing two crows and I rehomed a roo on the guise that I swear this guy is the other crower. My wife hasn't heard it because its not happening once I let them out of the coop. Still on the fairly young side.

Appears to be Extreme Splay Leg or Worse

We have a 10 day old chicks and within the second half of those 10 days, little guy was showing signs of some very bad leg formations. Spike Redux - 4(ish) mo. Silkie

I posted pictures of Spike about a week ago when it was snowing and he/she was looking matted. Here they are again dry. Their feathers are still a little crazy, but there is some even-ness to them so I am leaning towards pullet again.

    Meet Spike!

This is Spike is definitely Silkie and roughly 3-5 months old. Took him in with Chip, who I posted last week. He's the only one that I think is a male but I could go either way. His/her feathers are a little matted because my wife just brought him in from the snow to dry him up so I took some...

So we purchased this shed from wayfair in the hope of turning it into a home for our chickens. Basically we have two small coops in a 12x10 fenced area. We are going to remove a panel in the fence and have the doors open into the fenced area so the chickens will actually GAIN space once we...
