I grew up with chickens in upstate New York, living in a outter borough of the city now, what a terrible idea. I’m a corner house it’s been about 2 years now with 5 bantams. They are EXTREMELY loud, have plenty of space, just relentlessly loud (not the egg song) just making a “CAW CAW CAW CAW”...
My chickens have always been good and quiet minus the egg song which i don’t mind but only one has been an issue since birth (female bantam Easter egger) she screams and i mean screams every morning i have the link to recording, also caught her attempting to crow like a rooster. ( she is 100%...
So last week she started limping swollen feet a bit, now she’s getting abused by other hens i have her isolated in the basement in a pen. She’s eating and drinking fine and seems to be enjoying the ac and relaxing. I put this spray on her wound and feet. Any tips i really love her i bonded with...
I don’t think it is, but she’s extremely loud in the morning i got 3Easter egger bantams, they are about 6months old now (didn’t start laying yet) i don’t want to rehome her but she goes on a full rant every morning, the other 2 Easter eggers are fine the mottled Cochin bantams don’t make a peep.
So I’m finishing this area for the chickens it’s a mess right now but want to make it look nice for spring, can i use this mulch ? I let them run around this area usually all day (it’s a mess right now i know).
