Just wondering how long I should wait before giving up on the rest of my coturnix eggs. I've read around of people having late hatches, but how late is too late?
Thanks for any advice.
51 total eggs in the bator, the first two hatched at some point today while I was at work. How long before the rest should come? How long before I need to take the first two out of the bator? I don't want to mess up the temp/humidity for the rest of the hatch, but I don't want them to starve...
Hey all,
I currently have a gravity feed system with poultry nipples for my chickens. Will they work for quail as well? If so, how many would I need per bird?
Had one baby hatch yesterday morning and the feathers on it's back look like they have "hair gel" on them so they won't fluff. What can I do to get them clean? It's so little I don't want to hurt it, but I'm afraid they won't fluff out if I don't help...
The bator has been running steady for a couple of days, eggs came yesterday! After a few breaks in the mail, starting with 12 Goldens, 14 A&M's and 25 Jumbo Browns, wish me luck!
Hello all, looking for the best place to buy eggs from. I live in Southern CA, and can't find anyone local. Who has the best rates for the best quality coturnix?

Trying to decide which one to go with. Both have the fan option with auto turner. Kind of like the idea of the genesis Hova-Bator having a preset thermostat. Any input would be great, thanks!
Does anyone know where to get the best deal on poultry nipples in San Diego? I don't see myself paying the same price for the shipping as I do for the product itself!

Hello everyone, I'm sure it's been posted before, but with thousands of posts, I'm not sure I'll be able to read through them all.
