White Leghorn Roosters in North Central NC - Local Pick Up Only

We have three beautiful, healthy, White Leghorn roosters that are free to a good home. They are a year old. They are a bit skittish, but not aggressive. They do not have to go to the same home. ***Note: this is their daddy, but seriously, don't they all look the same?

    Question for you 'fancy photographers'

I have a fairly good camera now, but I would love to get a better one. I just don't have a clue where to start looking! Anyone have any suggestions of a really good camera that isn't, say, over $400? Thanks!

Your thoughts on whether or not to get our lonely gander a girlfriend?

So, we got four white Chinese Geese last spring and one of them didn't make through the summer (had an issue with her leg and just couldn't handle the stress and heat). We had no idea what gender any of them were, but it seemed that the one we lost was one out of two females. Shortly after she...

    goose wounded

Puncture wound slightly under wing. We poured whole bottle of hydrogen peroxide on the wound. We gently tied his wings to his body to keep him from stretching and opening the wound. It has stopped bleeding. We think it may have been a hawk. Anything else we should do??

    i'm worried

One of our geese is standing around with her mouth hanging open. They have a pool and none of the others are doing it. She has a hurt foot, so do you think that since it's harder for her to walk, she's just getting worked up?

So, my dad was mowing a field when he came across a dozen eggs. He decided they were turkey eggs, and I don't know what to do with them... will the momma turkey come back or will she not because she lost some of her cover from the weeds? If she doesn't come back should I try to put them under...

    Supposed to be a girl???

The one on the right. I noticed "her" this morning... "Her" comb looks bigger and is already turning a shade of pink. My other chickens didn't turn so pink until they were long out of the brooder. :/ Early bloomer?? Or rooster...

    I love my goslings!!!!!

I absolutely adore my new goslings! They are a couple days old. It took them a couple of hours to warm up to me but they finally love me back! I do worry about one of them though. One of its feet is bent backwards so that, if it were human, it would be walking on its wrist or ankle. We...
