    ID on my goslings

I ordered the Great Goose Group from McMurray Hatchery. They arrived last week in perfect condition. McMurray does not keep track of the breeds that it sends you, however, if you order an assortment. Wondering if anybody can identify what breeds I have. (supposed to be 3 different types)

    Duck fail..need advice

I want them to go inside at night because of predators. My duck run is secure but because it is so large, I had to use netting for the top which is NOT secure. I had to build a temporary pen for nighttime with a metal roof, sides etc inside the big run just for safety...and I can lure them...

    Duck fail..need advice

Thanks for the advice...I was wondering if putting a couple of chickens in the run with the ducks would help...this ramp I have is NOT very steep and it is maybe 3 ft. long. Chickens seem to be more inquisitive than my ducks. What type of treats do you use besides cracked corn? My ducks are...

New to group from Northern Arizona

Hi, I live in Chino Valley, Arizona. I am in the process of building a new 8 X 10 coup and run. I currently have part of my well house that is used for my current coup but I want to give the girls a much larger space and run. I show dogs and also own 5 horses. I am retired and just enjoying...

Leaving the coop door open or closed at night?

I should add that I live in a pretty moderate climate so we dont ever get too cold at night and my coop is part of a well house so it stays fairly warm in there even with the little coop door open.

Leaving the coop door open or closed at night?

I have never really closed my chickens in at night. They just go inside the coop by themselves in the evening but the door is always open. Does anybody else do this? I have a predator proof run. Thanks.
