I just ordered from mcmurray hatchery and am very disappointed with the 26 chickens I received, they started out great but at week 2 stopped growing and dying off. I have an order in with cackle and should receive them in about 3 weeks. hope I have better luck.

I have a handful of hens that don't lay in the nesting box, I put golf balls in their boxes and when I see them laying other than the nesting box I pick them up and put them in there. What else can I do??
