These 2 are the same chicken. Came from Ideal in the surprise special. Also fro surprise special. Has a blue tint in tail feathers, Came in the Bantam special from Ideal Poultry. Thanks for your help!!!

When Chciks puff out their hackle feather and look like they are sparing are they showing roo traits that young? They were doing this a couple weeks after they hatched. or could they be pullets and just playing?

I have a sick Black Copper Maran chick, about 6 weeks old - has isolated itself and ruffled feathers, one eye closed and does not move or respond. No discharge in the nostrils or eyes. Have given it a little bit of gatorade, what could it be and what else can I do?

I want this to be the thread that will tell the best way to fix this bothersome problem. I have silkies and my chicks get it everytime. I have to soak their butts in warm water and clean it off and it gets anoying. Who has the realk remedy? Ive read that you can put molasses in their water...

I had a batch of eggs that I know made it to 14 days but that is it. There were three that just did not absorb the yolk. What could have caused this. I have others in the same bator that are doing fine and i am doing th same things for all the eggs. Thanks, Jason
