Whew!! I"m so happy to read this! I think my husband doesn't realize that the easter egger chickens all look differently, and because it's more brightly colored than the other one, he's thinking it's a male.

They were black, bigger than a small ant. And there were other small bugs in it... We have had this for 2 weeks, and my husband had put the bag outside, and wouldn't buy an air tight container for the feed, so I think that has something to do with it.

Here's pictures of my chicks! About how old do you think they are? We got them in the mail just 2 weeks ago but my husband thinks they're 3 weeks old, so does my mom. I have 2 easter eggers, 2 silver laced wyandotes, 1 australorps. We ordered all female and hopefully they are all female.
