and, here's a little video of them out and about: my rooster doesn't have any long tail feathers at this point, not sure why -- he really blends in with the girls!

took a photo of my little flock (9 pullets/hens, one rooster) of silver campines yesterday -- they were happy for a brief break in our rain!

yes! here's a photo i just took: campine on the left, then pure isbar, then 3/4-isbar-1/4-marans in center, then my 1/2-isbar-1/2-marans cross, then pure marans on the right. the camera's coloring is a little bit too warm due to the lighting, but that's pretty close.

excellent news! took a photo yesterday of my best-looking cockerel (of four, more than i need, but...) and his two girlfriends -- looking forward to hatching eggs from this trio this spring!
