I have a guinea fowl that just hatched a day or 2 or so, it has very unstable legs and cant walk, it just lays their all day. We put carboard under to help. Do you have any methods to get it stronger? I give it sugar water everyday now. I tried the scrambled eggs thing and it wouldn't eat...

Same with me, but weirder, So far we have 11 hatched chicks, but shes not laying on her eggs! we have guineas and shes actually laying on those and they are hatching, its actually really funny. Your hen is Broody

My Buff Opington has been laying on her eggs, and chicks from her will be due around June 3rd. I don't know what we should do! we have 1 rooster, a lot of hens, and 6 guineas. I don't know if I should keep the chicks in the flock when they hatch. I'm afraid my other chickens may hurt the chicks...

Just put it on... It's a double strap and either we put it on wrong or she hates it! It looks wrong so we took it off:(

Yes! Sometimes the roosters will lay on the hens eggs to keep them warm and give her a break from laying there
