i noticed my chicken was bleeding today.when i looked closer,it appeared to have its organs exposed under vent and was bleeding worse.i put the poor thing out of its misery,and im wondering if it was an illness, or a predator.any comments would be greatly appreciated.im am heartbroken
i noticed one of my chickens was bleeding from behind,its rear end.upon closer examination,it looked like its innards were exposed,under the vent.very raw and bloody.i put her out of her misery right away,as she was losing a lot of blood.i wonder what predator got her and if i can set a trap...

i cant tell if my chicken is brooding,or sick.she sits in the corner all dayy,all fluffed up,and gets very agitated if you come close.she sometimes is on an egg, but wont have anything to do with other chickens.not eating much,as far as i can tell.her comb looks darker this morning.what can i do?
