    They are outdoors with a building to roost in out of weather and then have an open flightpen. I honestly thought it was way to early and their laying would probably be about the same as my Bobwhites. I hadn't noticed the male attempting to bread yet.

    I don't think they were sprayed; their roost is more than 4 feet off the ground. I am glad they do not have a sense of smell. It quite pungent in there.

    I read somewhere to put yellow mustard on kitchen burns. In the past month, I've gotten buned on hot pans straight out of the oven and both times slathered them in yellow mustard. The pain goes away almost immediately and the burn doesn't blister..I wish I had known this growing up! Any one...

    I got DH an Excalibur. They seem to have a great reputation. Prices vary greatly depending on what size machine you are looking for..you can even raise bread in it.
