    I dusted her quite alot, maybe 4 or 5 times? I checked her today still no lice but the eggs are clumped together and no sign of hatching from what I can see, but I really hope they don't hatch.. and its been a few months since iv dusted her, maybe 3 or 4 months

    we got a hen a few months ago and she had lice, I dusted her and now she doesn't have any lice (thank goodness!) buut, she still has a lot of dead eggs, im saying dead because she doesn't have lice and those eggs ave just been there, I tried to cut some but theyr very clumped together, anyone...

    One of my chicks (a month or two) had a little shall I say scratch on the upper part of the top beak as attatcjed in the photo! I'm really worried and not sure what it is, it looks like its grown.. I thought it would heal when I first saw it but it looks a bit bigger.. Any idea?? Or solutions...

    Since i started this thread, the chicks hatched :D soo yaay! trust me lol.. she'll be fine, if she's not pooing in the nesting area chances are she's probably going out every now and then, i was worried too because our hen lost weight, but thank god she's okay, i was doing what people recomended...

    good idea! i'm worried (as people keep telling me) im still new to this whole broody thing :/ i'm a little worried if i wash her, she'll "snap out" of her broodiness, i keep being told NOT to touch her, but maybe i'll move her food further away from her and see how that goes

    If i could go back to the begining :( i would build a more secure coop, a fox got over the fense killed them all and took 2, it was so depressing! And i also got sold sick animals by someone who refused to accept that they were sick, the poor animal died assoon as it got home, atleast it passed...
