Hey guys just put up a quad of my Hennies in Buy Sale Trade. I am putting them here because I am looking for a local deal..... Any experienced handlers wanting a rare bird, these are perfect....
I am letting this quad go for a steal because I really do not want to ship them
Cock is a little over 5yrs old, one hen is 4. The other 2 hens are last years hatch. All 4 are unrelated.
This guy is not friendly, but he is an excellent brood fowl. He should be handled by an experience person.
Let me check my bunch tomorrow, I will see what I have as far as pullets... I have a few darker ones. I am trying to go for all non crested... I am in Knoxville
My shipped SWF eggs, I got 7 out of 12. My last shipped hennie eggs I hatched 12 out of 13. I picked up some local eggs and hatched 3 out of 21..... I am not sure what the magic factor is when hatching shipped eggs. I do like to let them settle for about 12 hours before I put them in the bator.....
Well come home last night to two dead chicks and 8 missing. Checked the game camera and a red-tailed hawk had a really good lunch yesterday....
Soooooo..... now, for the first time in 10 years, the chick coop has a roof on it....
Does anyone have any SFH chicks they are selling...
Just hatched 7 from Duemig10 last night.... Healthy little boogers. Looks like all but 1 might be crested. Hope not, I am planning on going for all non crested in my flock. Looks like trading time....
That is wonderful to know. I am up that way quite a bit. Or at least Townsend. I spend a lot of time in the Cove and just above every little trout stream in between there and the Powerhouse at the NC line.
I would love to pick up some chicks when you have some available. I have 2 Eco-20 turner...
Hey guys, I thought this would be the best place to put this post. I am new to the Swedish Flower breed, I have been breeding hennie gamefowl for a while.
I am looking to start a flock of SFH chicks, started to adults.
Anyone that had some they are planning on finding a home for and...
I have quite a few young Wheaten Marans Roos that need to find a home. From Excellent stock. Cheaper for multis.
I am in west knoxville.

I have just gotten started back into chickens and had never planned on selling any publicly, so at the moment no. I have heard it isn't a hard process but I just haven't checked into it yet...
All true, Buddy is great .
I live less than an hour from him and made the trip to pickup.....Super stock, well kept... I need to talk to him about some of his lavender orpington project
Thought I would hop in and post a few egg pics, I have chicks coming out the wazoo right now so I have resorted to eating the eggs
They are Wheaten Marans I got from Buddy Henry last year. Super nice guy... I would love to get into the blue wheatens if I can find some with good egg color...
Dont see a Nashville trip in my future anytime soon. Although I would love to go to downtown and have sushi at RuSans......
About the farthest I make it that way is Harriman, with an occasional jaunt to Monterey during hunting season.....
Got a picture of the eggs, off my phone, the ones...
I have been a little too fortunate in my incubations these past few weeks and have another hatch coming off as we speak. Breeding line purchased last year from Buddy Henry and they are fertile...
I will post some chick pics and egg pics later tonight, let me know if you are interested. I...
Thx for the info, I mainly wanted the automatic change in humidity, I would like to find a manual to read it and see what it is capable of.
The Pro is full automatic where the Pro USB has a connection and software to the PC for tracking and recordkeeping...
I have searched the forums all day, I am trying to find out if the Pro20 is the only incubator that automatically stops turning and raises humidity on the 18th day?
Also, if you have one, where did you ge tit, I can only find Kemps Koops and LyonUSA. Kemps doesnt just have the Pro, I will...
