I learned how to drain our girl and it works for a few times. Now I can't seem to get liquid out - the syrsyringe has a vacuum. Has anyone with a chicken that had water belly and drained it themselves see an end? No one talks about what happens since it's not a cure, it's just to make them...

1 hen is pecking everyone else - help!

She's a golden sexlink and she is the king. The roosters will try to mate her and she walks around with them on her back until they give up. She's only one not missing any feathers. We don't know if she's eating them...they are free range. She focuses on neck and then butt on rooster....again...

    Automatic doors - predator

Hello all: I searched for automatic doors and predators but only found recommendations, etc. Our concern is whether an automatic door is basically an automatic feeder for predators. Here's what we imagine...the door opens and a coyote is just waiting for them to come out. Maybe as I type this...

    Fresh Eggs

Hi all, I found where a thread stated fresh, unwashed eggs are good non-fridgerated for 3 months. I wasn't able to find anywhere if it was bad to refrigerate unwashed eggs and take them back out of the fridge to give to someone else. Is this bad? They come out of fridge and stay out of fridge...

    Crop filled with air/gas?

Hi all: Our 7 month old black australorp had a sour crop. She was on the mend, eating and pooping. She had her crop flushed twice, once by us and once by a vet. Her crop went down and everything seemed fine; she was eating yogurt and crumble + drinking water with Apple Cider Vinegar. This...
