Has anyone used a greenhouse as a coop/run?

I was just wondering if that would work? I was thinking it would be predator proof, get lots of natural light, stay warmer in the winter etc.

    Help me amend HOA

So I found out this week I might go blind and or need brain surgery (I’m 34) so if I seem grouchy that’s why. Comments like you shouldn’t have/that’s why I didn’t move into a HOA are not helpful. Neither are comments that I’ll never succeed and just wait until I can move. I live in my forever...

Montgomery Ward incubator should I buy it? PIC ADDED

I found this old Montgomery Ward incubator. I guess it hasn't been used in 20 years but the last time it was used they changed the humidistat and wafer etc. Would you buy it for less than $100? I have been looking at the Brinsea eco 20, if it was you which would you buy. I am so torn.

Splash copper marans/andalusian cross roo free willing to ship

We believe this guy is a splash copper marans and andalusian cross. He is a great guy and is good to his hens. He is not aggressive. I would keep him except he is a bit vocal for my subdivision and I am working on my orpington flock and don't have any girls for him. Thank you, Sherina

Is he a splash copper marans?

This guy accidentally got mixed in with some of my Orpington chicks last year and the lady I bought them from said she was hatching some marans chicks for a friend at about the same time (she has been wonderful about the whole thing ). What do you think? If not any other ideas of what he might be?

    My chick can't walk

She is three days old today and she looks perfectly formed including her legs and feet. When she stands its like she leans back on her haunches and stumbles backwards often. Most of the time she wedges herself up to brooder wall with her back to it. She is not eating or drinking. Tonight I...

I'm a nervous wreck. I rented a LG 9200 with fan kit from our local extension office. I am incubating in our basement to avoid drafts and temperature swings and using the dry incubation method. I have been wanting these eggs for a year! Wish me luck cause i'll need it lol. I have 3...

Has anyone tried fleece liners in their brooders?

I use fleece liners for my hedgehog cages and was thinking to myself that would be a good way to avoid the chick dust in the house. I can just switch it out every other day and run it through the sanitize cycle on my washer. Would this work?
