Another update: When I got home from work this morning the one I was going to assist had died over night. I would like to join in if it's not to late. I set 30 Australorp eggs on March 24th. These eggs are shipped eggs from Meyer Hatchery. I ordered 24, when I opened the box there was 35 , Surprise ! Last year I set 21 eggs from them and had 15 hatch out. This is only my second time at incubating...

Sorry didn't realize you were talking about a double yoke one. It happens,but very rarely do both survive. So don't get your hopes up to much,but I wish you the best of luck and will keep my fingers crossed for you.

NO! I wouldn't do anything. If the shell has a pip in it, they are breathing air from the outside and resting.Just make sure your humidity is at the proper level for lock down and resist opining up the incubator unless its a dire emergency. Its better to wait and do nothing than to start poking...
