yes, the duckling has food and water available to it all times. Or I should say "had" because i've been trying to only give it a bit of food at a time since the issue has arose. Because now every time he eats, the right side of his crop becomes very hard. Chick sized grit?

Yes he's still fine :) He's been back to normal ever since. I won't give him any more of the magic mix, but when I go back I'll see if I can get a straight answer about what's in it.
