They are going above and beyond to help me so I have no complaints there. The only bummer is that my chick season has ended, I dont have room to bring on different aged chicks at this point so my hopes of a breeding pair will have to wait until next year 💔

Beautiful!! Congratulations!! Sounds like my experience. My girls were over 25 weeks old. Thier combs were red for almost two whole months!!!!! Took forever but I now have a blue and green egg layer. Excited for you! I love seeing color in the nest boxes :)

The sack inside was not penetrated. The egg was not cracked. It's almost like the blemish crumbled.

3 today. What do you all think this is? It's a blemish (like the one to the side)that crumbled...no other way to put it. Didn't penetrate the good stuff inside.

I almost did because my toddler and 90 pound pitbull came barreling behind me! No eggs were scrambled because of it, thank goodness!
