I had a jap bantam rooster, I really wanted a hen so i posted on CL till i found one, when I got her i left her in the coop for 1 1/2 days so she would get used to it. Tonight when I go to lock up my chickens she was roosting on one of our barn stall doors.

I Am putting mashed egg into the eye dropper and slowly getting a little down here throat, so far she has just pooped water...I dont wanna lose her. I dont want her to suffer either but i think i can save her
Its not doing to well, got it 2 days ago. Ive read some threads on it. Whats a good way to force feed? i got a eye drop for water mixed with some sugar and electrolytes. Any other suggestions...Its really tired and doesnt move alot.
Im James 19Y/o from southern Oregon. I have 1 RIR, 1 EE, 1 golden SL 2 Jap bantams and 2 sultans. I love chickens, there addicting. Everytime I go to a feed store its hard not to buy another. Anyway Got my coop completed and now working on a nice big run. Great site!!
Sorry to hear, I was really worried about putting my girls outside for the whole night so I poured a concrete footing around there coop, now I can sleep at night
my 2nd night my 3 2 month old RiR, EE, and sex link are staying outside(needed to make sure my coop was fully sucured b4 i let my girls stay outside). So anyway my 1 month old Japanese batams are with them. I did not see them on the perch until I looked a little closer, they were both tucked...
