She's kicking them out the nest because they are rotten, I don't know how she knows but she does :') Mine kicked out 2, I was upset when she did it but I cracked them open and they were rotten and smelt really bad. If they're not fertile, she'll kick them out too to prevent bacterial growth...
I'm not sure which hen the duckling came from as they all laid their eggs in the same nest but here's my squad (drake is the middle one, broody mama is the one on the far right):
Hi! So our other 3 are now housed in the garage at night so mama Ducks had the house to themselves.
We currently have 3 ducklings! Only 2 due now! They are so cute! Both ducks appear to be working together, seem quite happy and there isn't any conflict so I'd say, so far so good!
My runners hatched their first duckling on Saturday and 2 more have arrived since! Now we're just waiting for the final 2!
I was wondering whether anyone could help me, what colour do you think this little guy could turn out?
