Got these 4 cuties on clearance at Orschlens. I don't know if the brown one is a Rouen or a Mallard. The black and white one almost looks like an Ancona and I have absolutely no idea on the brown and white ones.
Just wanted to share this cutie. We are well into spring hatching season but this little guy almost didn't make it! We monitor our youngsters daily to make sure they are gaining okay and supplemental feed if necessary. I'd been keeping an eye in him because he was starting to fall behind his...
So I forgot to come back and tell y'all what I found out! A Black Cooper Maran Roo got in with the Buff Orpingtons and these guys were the result. I don't have any updated pictures but they are seriously cute!
So I bought two dozen "buff orphington" eggs. They hatched yesterday...I now have 13 chicks that are almost entirely black and brown with feathered feet. I have absolutely no idea what they are. Some of the eggs were smaller. I thought they were just eggs from young hens...now I'm wondering if...
Well, I've got 13 "buff Orpingtons that hatched over the last 24 hours. Anyone wanna play guess that breed because the are NOT buff Orpingtons(well, 2 are).

I custom make bleach art shirts with chicken, duck, turkey, horse, goat, etc silhouettes on them. If you can imagine it, I can probably make it! Short sleeve shirts are $16 and long sleeves are $18. Shipping is $5.50 for up to 4 shirts. I can also do sweatpants, sweatshirts, etc.. Just shoot me...
Is anyone familar with the show standard for rouens? I've got a gal interested in buying this drake but wants to know if he has any show flaws, and I don't have a clue what faults this breed has. Thanks!
I've got this Rouen drake that a gal is interested in buying but she wants to know if he is showable. I have zero clue what the standard is...does anyone see any glaring faults that would automatically disqualify him from showing?
This is mine. The layers are on the right half. Brooders, Quail, doves, some pigeons on the left side. Behind here are individual pens for breeding tris and quads.
I apologize if this is the wrong place to put it but egglaying was the best matching place lol
For those of you who sell at farmers markets or to stores, talk to me about your packaging? Egg sales can be tough local here because a lot of old timers sell eggs for $1 or $2 a dozen. For me, that...
