Aww that's awesome. Great to hear because I don't want to give up on her. I really try to be optimistic. I have her on the high protein still plus the rooster booster.. I just don't know what's helping or hurting her right now as far as feed. Trying to figure out if I need to manage her weight...

Going back and forth on the protein issue. People have been telling me to switch to 30% but looks like she's a broad breasted that could be overweight so I need to take her off the 30%. Thought that might be the case

Thanks so much for the info. Yeah someone from another forum is telling me she's a broad breasted and I should lower protein, I just purchased the 30% yesterday lol but will put her back on the lower protein

They also do free range but my one turkey can hardly move. I had the same issue with a turkey I rescued. She was paralyzed due to a weak heart (took her to 3 different avian vets). She ended up dying. The vets said there was nothing I could do. I just made her comfortable and gave her fluids...

I just recently switched both turkeys to layer feed, and my other turkey has been just fine so I doubt it has had too much effect yet. I will switch them back to starter. I purchased electrolytes and will administer thanks again for all your help

Well I had read to use a higher protein so I started off with chicken starter. But then realized that the protein is what helps makes them so big and then makes it harder for them, and then they start growing bigger than their hearts can handle. I think that's what my vet was telling me too...

Hi thanks for the responses I took her to a 3rd vet and we concluded that she had a cardiovascular issue. She ended up passing that evening :( but she went peacefully. I tried uploading pics but something wrong with the app . Thank you.
