    I thought so too until recently I saw on a Facebook poultry forum, a guy brought 12 eggs from Chicago to Pakistan got them x-rayed and all and hatched 8 out of 12. So that has given me the courage to order a few dozen for my self.

    thanks, i'll use silica packets and see how it goes. This may sound stupid but how do you caliberate a hygrometer? I just took mine out of the box and put a battery in it.

    Thanks for the replys. I took her off the nest and marked the eggs with a permanent marker. She didnt have food or anything she just came back to the nest and sat back down. She started with 2 eggs and there are 10 now I dont know which ones are new and which ones are old so i'll just let her...
