is there a chance she could be a meat bird? Her head has a coral coloring and blue/green tint around the eyes and beak. She is mostly white with a few varied streaks of black at her feather tips. Her legs are not as yellow as a leghorn either....

No wheezing but she is constantly cooing. I think she threw up all the food she ate yesterday in a solid mass and it was streaked with blood she's alert, chatty, eating , drinking, and pooping so I guess we will just wait it out for a bit. I separated her from the other chicks until I am sure...

We are raising our first rooster. He is an easter egger roo. This might be a silly question but will him mating with the other birds change their egg colors?

He is 7 weeks old and fairly certain now that he is a roo.

We purchased 6 sexed chicks. This was supposed to be an amerucana pullet but as she grows I think our Ruth might be a Rufus....help.. (same chick just different lighting )
