Our beautiful maran was attacked by a hawk yesterday. I think I interrupted the attack fairly early but I found her lying in the snow not moving. Her eyes and head were terribly swollen and a few missing feathers. Brought her inside and put her in dog crate with a heat pad because she was lying in snow. She is moving around good today, pooping and squawking but her eyes look bad. They are better than yesterday but still bad. Head sweeling is down alot too. Shes not eating or drinking. We bathed her to ensure no other injuries...any suggestions?
