    The grey one, got him couple weeks ago with another and he sleeps by himself on roost outsidet the coop. I was told it was a she and about 1 year old. Maybe this photo of him will help.

    I took some 1 year old silkies in and they are not laying. The previous owner said they were laying and were about 1 year old, what can the problem be? I am new to chicken parenting, starting to wonder if they are roosters, do silkie roosters crow?
