For me would not use such a big water tank,ducks are messy and will fowl the tank in 3-4 days(if not faster) and you will be going threw a lot of water just trying to keep things clean.Kiddie pools work great and would save you some water,and for me after you go iver the min. anout of water they...
Eggs from my ducks are really working out great for me,I'll eat them my dogs get one or more a day,but still end up with 2-3 dozen a day,found a buyer she comes by once a week and buys all I can get her at $5.00 per dozen.
Like most new things at first your supply will be bigger then the demand...

Not sure where you are at but here in TX we had a cold winter,and snow so predators had it hard so are hungry and getting bolder.
I killed 10 coons and 6 coyotes last month.
I use the bits,they are cheaper,go in and out faster,and have never had a bird get stuck in the top net with them.
A little blood is no big deal.

The brooder in(1st) pic is open for the pic.,pylwood goes on to to keep temp,then rigged another right next to it,so the hole group moves over to a new pen while I cleam the one they were in and on good day just open the side and let them out for some sun,after about a couple of weeks they go on...
My ts had it on sale 6.99 plus a 2.00 coupon on the bag so for 4.99 bought a few bags,used a bag in a 12x14' pen then it snowed so going to try again but birds did not care about it just not sue how well it worked.On my list for todays to do list.
