Top egg has development, the second egg looks to have nothing. Just to be on the safe side, you can leave it in the incubator and re-candle in a couple days, if it still loois the same, it's a trash egg.
Yes, it always seems to be that way. The more you check for eggs, the more you are interupting them. I always think about it as, would you want to take a poop with someone watching you?
I totally accept your opinion. I'm not offended or upset. I just can't seem to get all these standards and breed blood lines correct. And I'm not the only one.
I ordered from ideal poultry last year, ordered 10 ameraucana pullets, now they are 7 months old and laying green eggs. Come to find out, they are easter egger hens! Not even ameraucanas!!!
Well they are actually breaking the law. That is false advertising! When I have the receipt in my hand showing I purchased ameraucana pullets, and I look in my backyard and see easter eggers.....it's fraud!
Last year I purchased 10 ameracana chicks. I have raised them and now they are 7 months old, and laying. Now that I would like to incubate eggs, I have learned that they are in fact easter eggers and not pure ameracana chickens. Is ideal poultry responsible for this? They are selling eggers as...
Well I plan to keep my eggers, but very disappointed that a well known hatchery is selling eggers as ameracanas. But I do have 3 pure ameracana chickens and 7 eggers now. So I can move forward with that.
