We only buy Modesto Milling feed. We buy their organic layer pellets, about $38 for a 50lb bag. Not the cheapest stuff, but we, and the chickens, love it!

I just got a shipment of 6 tolbunt chicks and will only be keeping 1 of them! I think I might even have a frizzle roo... but too early to tell for sure. If anyone is interested in adding a tolbunt or two to your flock let me know!! I am in California.

I don't have a preference for bantam or standard, I care more about color :) want a splash, laced, mottled, or other interesting color hen. Looking for younger though, as I'm getting new chicks between june 5-10 and would want them to be similar in age so I don't have to quarantine separately....
