My chickens have already destroyed their grass area so now they just stand in the mud, and since it's winter there's not too many bugs to peck around at. Any ideas on how you keep your flock entertained and happy? I saw a cabbage piñata on Pintrest.. hehe
My eggs smell like sulfur and urine, especially when I cook them... I don't eat these ones because I fear that it will taste like sulfur or that these eggs are contaminated. How do I get rid of this sulfur smell? Are there certain foods I should be giving them to improve the smell? Right now...
Hi,
I’m looking for a way to keep my coop clean with such a small space. There’s a gravel flooring, which I sprinkle some hay on top, but so much poop builds up that it becomes a mountain. How do you maintain the cleanliness of your coop? I’ve heard that some people use sand.. looking for any...
Hi all,
I found my chickens just now laying together in a huddle in their run outside. It isn't cold here, and they have food and water. Is this a sign of sickness or are they just being plain ol' lazy right now? They've never done this before and I am a new chicken keeper (and overly...
Where can I buy a Chunnel (chicken tunnel)? I see a lot of diy ones, but I just want to buy one. This picture I found on Amazon is what I want, but they don’t sell it anymore. Anything similar to it?
