    dead chickens. Canabalism

I live way out in the country. The nearest neighbor is three miles. All the cats around here are Ferrel. People from the city who no longer want their cats, come out here and toss them out. They then become Ferrel. There are as many cats as there are rabbits and predators. I will dispatch them also.

Another bird this morning, nothing on the game cam. It was on all night. only one pic of dog when he went in there with me this morning. This time it stuck around long enough to eat almost the whole bird, not much left. The other two remaining birds refuse to go in the coop and I don't blame...

    dead chickens. Canabalism

I have never seen a weasel where I live. Coons are abundant and so are cats. And so is my 223 ammo supply. I am putting on my night vision scope and sitting in wait starting tonight. I have plenty on leg hold traps. I hate killing other animals like this but it has to be done.

Chickens roosting in tree at night

All female, they grew up together. I bought all of them when they were a week old. Maybe I need more places for them to roost. The whole lot seems to like it high. I have found them on the second floor of the barn. I have caught the neighbors dogs from a mile don the road on my property. I shot...

Chickens roosting in tree at night

I have two chickens that decided that they no longer want to roost at night in the coop. They roost in a weeping Birch tree right by the front porch. The tree is about 7 feet tall. As soon as it gets light out, they head back with the rest of the flock. No idea why they decided they like this tree.

my .223 takes care of any pest problems nice and fast. Once in a while a coon or fox still shows up unaware what he is getting into.
