    Do these work?

Any good ones off the top of your head? I can’t spend a ton of money, I have about an $100 budget on the whole thing (the reason why I found the cheapy cheap incubator was because it was small and i don’t want to have ten million Egg-stra spots In the incubator)

    Do these work?

So would the cooler+ lightbulb homemade one be a better idea then the cheap one? If i want any chance of raising chicks myself I would need a ‘bator soon

    Do these work?

I was looking at incubators on amazon and the cheap, small ones that I found was the “Kidisol HHD Mini Egg Incubator Automatic Digital 7 Eggs Poultry Hatcher Tool for Dutch Bird Chicken Egg (Yellow)” (Link #1) but I also found a thread on WikiHow on how to make a homemade Incubator (link #2)...

Place food/water in front of her mouth and dip beak in both. She will begin to eat and drink shortly. After about three days help her stand up and walk around :)

Looking for a breed of rooster that will be gentle with the hens

My friend had a big white tom (not sure what kind) that was raised under a Brahma hen and was 100% fine with chickens. Maybe it’s dependent on how they are raised, or individual turkies? The tom was separated at night but he would free range near the rest of his flock and would defend the hens...

Looking for a breed of rooster that will be gentle with the hens

If you get it as a poult I think it would be fine with chickens (hell, let a broody raise it!) but if not I wouldn’t keep a Tom and my hens together so I’d but about 4 straight run and pray for some hens as well

    RIR Gender Help!

I’m thinking all look like Roos, but my g-ma had some male looking RIRs so i’d hold off on selling/butchering until someone crows or lays an egg

Looking for a breed of rooster that will be gentle with the hens

I personally would invest in a full grown Brahma Roo, or a turkey Tom (if you’re looking for thanksgiving dinner, and a defender first that is) the Brahma would be more of an “oh crap let’s not attack them” thing, but a turkey would fight a pedator if it felt it’s life was in danger. Jersey...

    Hello from Washington State!

I see you have 3 lavender Araucana and a few Isabella Brahma’s in the ‘bator. Those sound super cool! I want a Brahma super bad, but I can’t take the risk of a big Brahma rooster at the moment, so I may have to wait a couple of years
