What did you do in the garden today?

Well it wasnt the garden. With the new place, we havent gotten a garden spot "scratched" out yet (see what i did with that lol). However, I did mow and plug my front yard (1/3 acre). The yard wasnt kept up or groomed for several years so i have a yard of weeds, but not for long. Since February...

Hey, he's close to a mastiff He's definitely a big boy (and the love of my life :). He's a European Boxer (versus the American boxers which are smaller frame). Some info on the boxer "The Boxer is part of the Molosser dog group, developed in Germany in the late 19th century from the now extinct...

    2nd morning help

Have you tried a small separate dish of water with electrolytes? Have you verified by dipping their beaks in water that they have taken a drink? Also, you may want to research apple cider vinegar with the mother as well. My chicks did really well with the electrolyte water and ramped up quickly...

    The Quack Shack

From what I have read and what i'm going to try.... you crack the eggs and scramble them in a bowl. Then, pour the eggs into muffin tins and quick freeze them. After they are frozen, you can take them out of the muffin tins and place them all in freezer bags then pull out however many you need...

What did you do in the garden today?

Yesterday I FINALLY got sunshine here in Middle Tennessee. It's been way to wet weather for me to get anything done. Yesterday got some elephant ears, hibiscus and other cuttings planted. Hopefully it will dry out today where I can get the yard mowed, fire up the plugger where I can seed and...

What did you do in the garden today?

We didnt let ours dry. They will be ok as long as they aren't going into sloppy wet ground. The soil will stick to the starchy/white part of the seed potato and form it's own barrier.

What did you do in the garden today?

Most definitely you can cut your seed potatoes to make more eyes :). Just make sure you have an eye for each piece you cut. The cut doesnt have to be square, it can be triangle, odd angle, doesnt matter, as long as it has some white on the potato and an eye. You can get really creative cutting...

What did you do in the garden today?

You can have more than one "eye" per piece you cut up, depending if they are small. And it does not matter how big your pieces are just make sure they have enough white "meat" of the potato to draw nourishment from. Once you do a couple thousand you will get the hang of it ;). I've cut more seed...

Coronavirus, Covid 19 Discussion and How It Has Affected Your Daily Life Chat Thread

Virals usually do break in peak when warmer weather but we don't know if this one does or not. Certainly hope so. My concern is that it will probably come back again this Fall. So along with regular flu season, my opinion is that Corona will be throwed in there as well. Hopefully with all the...
