I think he has been. He’s been standing every time I’ve gone out there. So I hoping he’s on the mend.

I have ear drops that I use for my dog , miniature schnauzer, for when she had a ear infection. If he does have a ear infection do you think I could put a drop of that in his ear?

Thank you. I would love to have some chicks from him. But none of my hens are broody. My hens just started laying about 2-3 weeks ago. I was thinking wry neck too. I’m hoping he’ll drink the vitamin water but I’m worried that he isn’t.

    Rooster acting weird.

He’s not panting or having any other symptoms other than wanting to sleep and looking like he has no head control. When I checked on him just now he is standing and his head is normal. Yesterday he was eating and drinking normally. He was just off to himself a lot.

It’s just that I’m worried he’s not eating and i I did get him to drink a little. He is standing and is alert right now. I just don’t want him suffering. I do not want to cull him. But do not want him suffering. I’m not gonna give up on him just yet. Gonna keep him isolated with his water and...

There was no worms in his droppings. He’s not eating or drinking anymore at this point. I went to pick him up. He got away from me. Now he’s in the chicken run where I can’t get to him. I’m thinking at this point I should cull him. I hate seeing a animal suffer.

He doesn’t seem to be doing good. I have him isolated with some rooster booster and scrambled eggs. This morning he was just laying in the coop. His head seems like it’s to heavy and he can hardly keep his eyes open. He’s perked up some since then. But I just don’t know. My heart breaks for him...

Is it normal for a rooster to turn his head, with one eye, towards the sky like he looking or listening at something really good?. The past days before this he would favor turning his head side ways like he was looking at something up in the sky or he was listening to see where that sound was...

It felt like his crop was empty. I got him a few months after I got my girls in April. So I’ve only had him maybe 3 months at the most.

He wasn’t doing so great this morning. He was just laying in there with his eyes closed and his neck seeming heavy. But he seems to be perking up now. I gave him some rooster booster in his water and I scrabbled him a egg. I checked him for mites and lice, I Didn’t see anything. I have him...

Yea that’s why I think I just got the regular crumbled feed. Cause mine wasn’t laying yet when I bought the big bag of Dumor. And Especially since the lady at the register told me when they do start laying come get some oysters shells and mix with it. Instead of doing that I bought the Purina...
