On Saturday I am hopefully driving an 8 hour round trip to obtain my first buff giant dewlaps.
I'm extremely excited as this is my "dream" breed, but I'm hoping for some advice from more experienced members on what to look for, since I will be allowed to select my own birds from the available...
The ones you think are light pharoah, could they be calico? I do have a calico female. They look VERY different than my pharoah. Grayish where they should be brown. I also have a female that looks like a pharoah but she's all shades of gray.
These two absolute cutie oddballs. I thought the top one was a silver until he dried off. Now I have no idea. Bottom one is gorgeous but unsure of colouration. I think it looks to my eye to have white crescents and bib possibly which makes me think he is out of my "rosetta" male with the same...
Tuxedos! I'm not sure of the colours. I think most are a silver range? But definitely have one or two cinnamon/reddish looking guys amongst? They would be out of my tuxedo male, who is a silver.
I'll get better/individual pictures later, but I've just had a lovely hatch. Trying to figure out what colours these chicks are so I can make my selections about who is staying for future breeding and for me to enjoy, and which will be looking for coops of their own elsewhere!

And I have a male that looks an awful lot like the bird you just posted above. I'll try and get some pictures of birds later and see if members can give me accurate colour names 😊
